Laura G. Conner

Mrs. Laura G. Conner, 85, of LaHarpe, Illinois passed away Monday, January 18, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. at the LaHarpe-Davier Health Care Center.

She was born June 5, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Harry and Mary Hainey Clifford. On November 27, 1951 she married Vincent J. Conner in New Jersey. He preceded her in death in 1995.

She and her husband lived in Kirkwood, New Jersey for many years, retiring to Arizona in 1987. Following the death of her husband she moved to Illinois where she lived with her daughter. She had been a resident of the care center since 1995.

Surviving are one daughter, Kathleen Harden of Bushnell, Illinois, one son, Brian Conner of Collingswood, New Jersey, five grandchildren, three brothers, Joseph, Harry and William Clifford all of New Jersey and one sister, Frances McHale of Philadelphia, PA.
She was preceded in death by her husband and three sisters.

Following cremation, burial will be in the Cochise Memory Gardens in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
